Sizzano is a plodding agricultural village situated along the provincial road to Valsesia, between Novara and Ghemme. It is in the heart of fertile hill zone and it is a centre of renowned wine- making . Its thousand year history is testified by recent archaeological finds in the Parish Church end in the territory where has been discovered an important roman “domus ”, to which was overbuilt a large church in the V- VI centuries.
Among numerous places of visit there are: The Parish Church and the Middle Age castle; Churches of S. Grato and of S. Maria; Madonna of the Peace chapel of Bergamina; Tornelli and Gibellini hunt palaces.
