The village of Mezzomerico lies on the slopes of the surrounding hills around Novara, between green meadows and mellow fields, woods and vineyards. The sight sweeps from Rosa al Resegone, resting on the vast plain which seems to sleep in solemn silence. The birds singing and the magnificent sound of the bells create the music of a simple and evocative nature. The village thrives on rural economy, and grapevine cultivation is one of its most important activities.
The town’s oratories and the parish church, restored during the first half of the 19th century, are places that are worth visiting. The ancient century palace from the 15th century, once belonged to the Visconti family, is located in the town centre and is particularly evocative.
